[O]: 'There was something strange among Ferrari and Alonso,' the columnist said. (Images, Makes, Ferrari, 1950, provided by Maximiliano Catania/FUNO!) THE SILENCE OF FERRARI
by Coraci de Jesus Leite
Tangará da Serra (BR), 25 Sep 2007

Is not strange the fact that Ferrari accepted the fine imposed on McLaren by the FIA, that is only the loss of Constructors' Championship points this year, instead of a more severe one? Yes, it is, since it was Ferrari the one claiming for justice on the espionage affair. So we may say that something strange has happened with Ferrari in the meanwhile; on the other hand, let's see the silent attitude of McLaren's Fernando Alonso: the only way he found to fight for the championship against Lewis Hamilton was by victimising himself. Now, we may say that there was something strange among Ferrari and Fernando Alonso: a sort of deal, I mean. If this hypothesis comes true, Fernando Alonso will be driving a red Ferrari next year, and Felipe Massa will be the chosen to yield his seat, because of his poor results, lack of reliability and brightness, unlike the brand-new star of the Formula One Circus: Britain's Lewis Hamilton.

So, be prepared for next races, because of the driver changes already started, and sadly for Brazil, the only way to smile is only by remembering our best Formula One genius, Ayrton Senna, since we are disappointed for the active drivers: Rubens Barrichello is not on his heyday, he is really out of pace; and our today's hope, Felipe Massa, has to be prepared to get a drive with Toyota in 2008. We have only Nelsinho Piquet who, nevertheless, is not ready to drive an F1 car; and there is an unique star who will bright soon: Bruno Senna. Brazilians will back to celebrate every Formula One Sunday with him!

Opinion of a Brazilian.
